What the sports catalogue covers

The sports catalogue lists fixtures held abroad across several disciplines. Football is there as individual matches, from group games to semi-finals and cup finals. Combat sports appear as fight nights: UFC events, other mixed martial arts promotions and boxing cards. Motorsport is listed as Grand Prix weekends, where tickets usually cover one or more race days rather than a single evening.

Other disciplines join the list when organisers schedule events and release tickets, so the mix changes from month to month. The catalogue is organised by date, which keeps a busy sporting calendar readable: a final, a fight night and a race weekend that fall in the same fortnight sit next to each other. Every entry is a separate event. Two matches of the same tournament, or two cards of the same promotion, each have their own page, their own categories and their own prices.

Football, fight nights and race weekends work differently

Football matches

A football ticket is for one match at one stadium. Kick-off for an evening fixture can be late, and knockout games can run into extra time and penalties, so a match may end well after the scheduled finish. The match page names the fixture, the venue and the date, and the ticket covers that one match only.

Fight nights

A fight card runs for several hours. Preliminary bouts start before the main card, and the headline fight usually comes last, close to the end of the evening. Bouts on a card can change up to the day of the event when a fighter withdraws, which is a decision of the promotion, not of the ticket seller.

Grand Prix weekends

Motorsport tickets follow the organiser's structure: some cover a single day, others the whole weekend, and some include access to evening programmes at the circuit. Where a ticket category on the event page carries a description, read it before you book. On race days the programme often runs from support races earlier in the day to the main race later on, so plan the whole day at the circuit rather than a single start time.

How sports listings are put together

Each fixture page carries the event name, the date and the start time, the venue and the city, and the ticket categories released for that event. Prices are shown in US dollars per ticket before the payment step. Categories belong to the fixture, not to the building: every event held at a venue comes with its own set of categories. The listing reflects what has been released for that date; when nothing is on sale for a fixture, its page says so and offers a request form instead.

Several tickets in the same category for one fixture can be booked in one order, which is the simplest way to keep a group together where availability allows. Tickets for a different fixture go into a separate order, because each order covers one event, and every order is handled and delivered separately.

Travelling to a sports event abroad

Big fixtures fill a city. Hotels near the venue and transport on the day are in demand, so book the trip early and plan the route to the stadium or circuit in advance. Allow extra time on the day: security screening at large venues takes longer than at a cinema or a theatre, and gates for evening events often get busy in the last hour.

Entry rules are set by the venue and the organiser for each event. Bag limits, banned items and the documents you may be asked to show differ from one venue to the next and are published for every fixture. Checking them before you set out avoids surprises at the gate. Tickets are delivered no later than 2 days before the event date. Tickets are delivered as mobile tickets via a ticketing app. In rare cases, tickets may be provided as a PDF.

If a fixture is postponed or cancelled

Sport is exposed to schedule changes: weather, broadcast slots and team or fighter withdrawals can move an event. If the event is cancelled by the organiser and not rescheduled, the order is refunded under the refund policy. If the event is postponed to a new date, your tickets remain valid for the rescheduled fixture.

Changes to a fight card or to a team line-up are partial changes to the event programme: under the refund policy they are not grounds for a refund, and the ticket stays valid for the date. The full conditions are in the refund policy and the terms of service, and the support team at worldtickets365inc@gmail.com answers questions about a specific order.

Tours, single shows and festival nights are in the concerts catalogue, and the venues page lists the stadiums, arenas and circuits where events in the catalogue take place. The questions and answers page covers delivery, payment and transfers, and the World Tickets 365 home page shows what is coming up next.
